Little Adirondack Great Camp Camp Daisy
Camp Daisy is
named after the owner's grandmother Daisy Cruse, built by
grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, in the
twenties with lots of love and care. The lumber was trucked
from their sawmill in the village of Poland by Model T
truck, over unpaved and rough roads, a distance of some 38
miles. Sometimes as many as 2 loads per 16 hour day were
possible! The camp has remained in the family since its
construction. It has been relished for many
years and now it is time to explore the possibilities of
life (during the winter) in a warmer climate.
The "little"
Great Camp has 5 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and a full attic for
additional bedrooms if you wish. Fully furnished and
total replacement of all electrical and plumbing as well as
new roof and siding. All remains in good shape as it
was the family retreat for many years. The
children enjoyed the 75' of sandy shoreline with 48' metal
